Notice to Customers With AOL Email Addresses

If too many "bounces" occur from your email address, you may be automatically removed from the system and stop receiving messages at some point.  Civic Plus, our web provider, is trying to get this rectified with AOL but ultimately they are not sure when or if this issue can be resolved, as it's an issue with AOL itself.  It appears that outdated protocols are causing emails from sites that abide by modern security protocols to not go through to an AOL address.  This seems to be an industry wide issue so you may or may not be experiencing similar issues in receiving emails from other companies or organizations as well.  

If you haven't gotten an email notification from the Village in a while you may want to check to see if your email address is still active in "Stay Informed."   If it is not, you will need to resign up to receive further notifications.


Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.  We just want you to be aware of the situation.
