Community Input Needed on Village's Draft Master Signage Plan

4:00 to 7:00 p.m., 16300 Alba Street; and
* Wednesday, July 26 at Lemont Legends
Cruise Night, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Downtown Lemont
* Thursday, July 27 at the Sunset Soiree Concert
in Downtown Lemont Starting at 6:00 p.m.

The project team is currently in the middle of the Schematic Design Phase and Hitchcock Design Group has developed alternative signage design options for consideration. The Village would now like to invite community input as a basis for refining the preferred family of signage types and to identify priority locations. Additional signs may be added over time as needed. More info:  http://www.lemont.il.us/DocumentCenter/View/2836

Sponsored by: The Art & Culture Commission of Lemont
Exhibit Open Now Through September 17

Lemont Center for the Arts | 1243 State St., Unit 101

RE: is an exhibition that will focus on 2d and 3d works created from previously used materials. In a world where goods are easily acquired, this show places value on the artistic transformation of salvaged items.  Found objects, reimagined images and "treasures" rescued from curbside, all have the potential for new life as assemblage, mixed media collage, or up-cycled furniture.
