IL Department of Financial & Professional Regulation - Certain occupations are required to be licensed by the state of Illinois.  The Department of Financial & Professional Regulation site includes a complete list of regulated professions and licensure requirements for each.

Village of Lemont Licensing - All businesses that are not required to be licensed through the state of Illinois must complete a business license application and receive a business license from the Village of Lemont.  Although not all businesses are required to be licensed, the Village encourages all business owners to complete the license application to register the business with the Village.  Only licensed or registered businesses are included on the Village's on-line business directory.
