A History of Lemont Heritage Fest
In 1991, the first Heritage Fest was staged as a one-day street fair to celebrate the history and heritage of Lemont with music, food and family fun.  Due to its phenomenal success, the festival has been repeated each year and has become a local tradition.  Now in its 24th year, Heritage Fest continues to provide an enjoyable celebration for residents, local businesses, and visitors. The Heritage Fest Committee is busy planning a great event in 2014 featuring some of the local talent and homespun activities of the original celebrations along with some new items for the kids to enjoy.  We rely heavily on the generosity of our sponsors for this wonderful low-cost to no-cost event for all the families in our community to enjoy a day of no worries, and just plain fun!
