Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
Village of Lemont FOIA Request
Any request to examine and/or copy records of the Village of Lemont under the Freedom of Information Act must be made in writing. Prepared forms are available in the Village Clerk’s Office or by printing out the form below.  A written request for specific records received by mail, fax, or email will also be accepted. All requests must include the requester’s full name and contact information, including phone number and email if applicable, as well as a clear description of the records sought.

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 et seq.) requires, at 5 ILCS 140/4, that each public agency in the State of Illinois, such as the Village of Lemont, make available an informational directory setting forth the methods whereby the public may request public records, designate who have been named Public Information Officers, along with other information that is appropriate in the proper administration of the Act's requirements.

Required Disclosures
Illinois Public Act 097-0609 requires that the Village post certain information regarding salary and benefits of Village employees on its website within 6 days of the passage its budget.  To comply with this requirement, the Village has posted the following information on April 11, 2012
