**Register Your Scarecrow by September 20!**
Lemont Junior Woman's Club and Lemont Township's Scarecrow Trai
Location:  Lemont Township Community Center | 16300 Alba Street, Lemont, IL

Fall is right around the corner and the Lemont Junior Woman's Club would like to invite you to participate in our popular annual Lemont community event, LJWC and Lemont Township's Scarecrow Trail, running from September 26 until October 18, 2026, at the Lemont Township Community Center (16300 Alba St, Lemont).   

The theme for this year's trail is, "Stars, Stripes, and Scarecrows - Scarecrows Salute America's 250!" Entries are encouraged to create a patriotic scarecrow and bring their completed scarecrow to the Lemont Township Community Center on September 24 or 25th for installation. 

Each scarecrow will be displayed with signage provided by LJWC indicating its title and the business/organization/family sponsoring it. This provides an excellent marketing opportunity to the 500+ community members who walk the Scarecrow Trail to vote for their favorite scarecrows. 

Scarecrow entries have the opportunity to win cash prizes in three categories (best family scarecrow, best youth org scarecrow, and best nonprofit/business scarecrow). Winning scarecrows will be on display at the Village of Lemont Trick or Treating event in downtown Lemont on October 24th.

The Lemont Juniorettes will be hosting their annual Monster and Me Mile Fun Run at 2 pm on October 10 (immediately preceding the Lemont Park District's Harvest Fest). Click here for more info and to register for the run (registration deadline is October 1).
