After the Storms – Yard Waste Pickup Through Waste Management 

Thank you to our residents and businesses for your cooperation during the recent storm debris cleanup. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our Public Works Department for their hard work and dedication in clearing debris and helping our community recover.

While the Village's branch pickup has concluded, residents can continue to dispose of yard waste through the Village of Lemont's Waste Management program, which includes yard waste collection with your regular refuse pickup.

Collection Requirements:

• Landscape waste must be placed in a biodegradable paper "Kraft" type bag, up to 33 gallons in capacity.
• Shrubbery cuttings, tree branches, and twigs must be placed in a "Kraft" type paper bag OR securely tied bundle.
• Bundles must be tied with string or twine.
• Branch bundles must not exceed 4 feet in length.
• Bags and branch bundles must not exceed 50 pounds in weight.
