Thanksgiving 2025

As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday, enjoying time with family and friends, being thankful for that which we are fortunate to have, including living in this community and in the United States of America, we encourage you to do so safely and offer the following tips:

At home:

- Lock doors and windows
- Leave lights on
- Use timers

While driving:

- Be patient- holiday traffic can be heavy
- Be alert while driving, watching for pedestrians
- Drive sober- use rideshare if needed.  Have a designated driver

Remember those who will be working around the clock and away from their families to keep us safe this Thanksgiving, including the Lemont Police Department, first responders and our Armed Forces.
