Get ready for a spooktacular time at our Second Community Swap Event! The Costume Swap is for families, friends, and individuals of all ages to exchange new and gently used costumes to ensure that everyone has access to a fantastic outfit for Halloween without breaking the bank. It is also a perfect opportunity to do our part to reduce, reuse, and upcycle. Help us to keep costumes in our community and out of the landfill by swapping and getting a new-to-you costume!
Event Highlights:
- Costume Exchange: From Friday, October 3, to Wednesday, October 8, bring your costumes and accessories to Lemont Park District’s CORE building. Then on October 9, come to the swap event for something new-to-you. All sizes and styles are welcome, from infants to adults. For more information, visit https://www.lemontparkdistrict.org/event/halloween-costume-swap.
- Designated bins will be located in the lobby of the CORE building.
Participation is simple: bring one or more new or gently used costumes and drop off the week before the event then attend on October 9 and pick up a fun new-to-you costume for the whole family! If you don't have a costume to swap, don't worry! This event is free and open to the public. Costumes are free and you don't need to donate one to take one.
We encourage everyone to participate and help make the Halloween memorable and sustainable together.
